Guy Taken Seriously

So, this isn't too much of a love song.  In fact, it's not at all a love song.  Ah, well, I know that you'll understand if I say that I wrote this one first, and I haven't yet gotten around to finishing and perfecting my "romatic songs."

This one is called, if you haven't already guessed, "Guy Taken Seriously."  It sort of goes hand-in-hand with "You Had Me."  Only, of course, it's ever-so-slightly, just a little bit different.

Okay, so it's a little wordy.  But given the fact that it's never going to be an actual song, I really like it.  There are intricate and involved rhyming patterns, and there's a whole lotta truth in the words.
